Why school journalism?

According to The Higher Education Review: “School newspaper provides a platform for students to express their ideas and creativity. It helps to develop their critical thinking skills. Moreover, it can be instrumental in building peer-to-peer relationship, while shaping their perspectives, opinion and identity.”

Here at Marshfield High School we are proud to have The Marshfield Times as one of our many student offerings. The students and staff that work on this publication put in a great deal of work to bring you the news, views and opinions of our student journalists.

Here is a link to their website displaying their work for you to see the level of skill and talent our students display.
